We can't wait to see you
Nekane & Stéphane
We chose Oaxaca because it's a place that feels like us: the food, the music, the colors.
We were lucky enough to find each other and all we want is to celebrate that with the people we love the most.

May is business convention season in Oaxaca — we recommend booking early. We suggest staying near Iglesia de Santo Domingo and Calle Alcalá or Reforma.

Most visitors from the US, Canada, the EU, the UK, and Australia do not need a visa to enter Mexico as tourists — stays of up to 180 days are typically permitted with just a valid passport. Upon arrival, you may be asked to fill out a brief tourist card (FMM), which is usually provided on your flight or at the port of entry. Requirements can vary by nationality, so we recommend checking with your country's embassy or foreign affairs website as you get closer to the wedding date to confirm the latest entry rules.
Oaxaca has its own international airport (OAX), with direct flights from Mexico City (about 45 minutes), and connecting service from many US cities including Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York. Once you land, the city center is a short 15–20 minute taxi or rideshare ride from the airport.
The ceremony and reception are formal day attire — think garden party meets Oaxacan color. We'd love to see you dressed up. The welcome cocktail (La Calenda) is white outfit only — part of the fun! We'll share outfit inspiration linked above.
We love the kiddos, unfortunately this is an adult only event. For nanny contacts, reach out to Karla Morales at WhatsApp +52 951 128 3245.
Oaxaca is one of the great food cities in the world. Here are some of our favorites:
Breakfast: Las Quince Letras, Boulenc, Ancestral, Pan:Am, Tierra de Sol, Tacos Carmen Alto, Mercado de la Merced, Mercado 20 de Noviembre (some of the best food in Oaxaca — go with a solid stomach).
Lunch & Dinner: Amantes, Los Danzantes, Criollo (fine dining), Pitiona (rooftop with a view of Santo Domingo), Catedral Restaurante (fine dining), Levadura de Olla, Casa Oaxaca, Vaca Marina, La Popular, El Lechoncito de Oro (tacos), La Chinita (tlayudas). Don't leave without trying the mole negro and a proper mezcal.
Things to see: Jardín Etnobotánico, Monte Albán, Árbol del Tule, Barrio de Jalatlaco, Zona Arqueológica de Mitla, Museo Textil de Oaxaca, and of course the Templo de Santo Domingo — where we'll say our vows.

Nearby trips: Puerto Escondido, Zicatela, Hierve el Agua.
Two spots we recommend in Oaxaca: Proyecto 110 (Make Up Studio + Hair Lab, García Vigil 110) and Coquetta (Emilio Carranza 612). We recommend booking in advance — May is a busy time in the city.
